Although Tokio Hotel continues to be a rising star in North America, the guys of Tokio Hotel already have a huge following in Germany, Europe, Australia, Africa and beyond. Riding high on the success of their latest release, Humanoid, Tokio Hotel took home the “Best Group” award on Thursday at the MTV European Music Awards in Berlin.

As proof of how popular Tokio Hotel has become, Tokio Hotel beat out the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon and Green Day to take the “Best Group” award at the MTV European Music Awards. While in Berlin to receive their MTV EMA award, the four members of Tokio Hotel – Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav – also took to the MTV stage to give Tokio Hotel fans an explosive, pyro charged live performance of the international Tokio single, “World Behind My Wall,” which appears on the recently released Tokio Hotel album, Humanoid, which is available now.

The Tokio Hotel MTV Europe award for “Best Group” comes fresh on the heels of Tokio Hotel at The Myspace Music Feed to talk about their new album Humanoid and Tokio Hotel thoughts on the American music scene.
